We could certainly call the 2011 year as the Year of the ballet. Society one by one followed with big interest the events, trying to cognize the beauty of this art form. One of the highlights was the release of the movie "Black Swan" with a gorgeous Natalie Portman in the beggining of this year, after that all were looking forward to opening the main stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow - an event was watched by more than 100 000 people worldwide, in October VOGUE Russia released special issue dedicated to this art, named 'DANCE IN VOGUE'' with the picture of a legend of world of ballet - Maya Plesetsskaya on the cover. All these events preceded the discovery of the eponymous exhibition, which opened at the Moscow Museum of Art Media. More than a hundred images by world famous photographers reveal the relationship of art of ballet and fashion, through the lenses of the world's most fashionable photographers to visitors . At the invitation of the magazine VOGUE exhibition visited the owner of the Fashion House IRFE Olga Sorokina.
